Welcome to CKD Style!  

Hi, my name is Christina from Pennsylvania.

I wanted to share a little of my story.  I started sewing at age five using only scraps of fabric and unused clothing.  After receiving my first sewing machine at age eight, sewing became a passion and I made clothing and home décor items nearly every day. 

After receiving a Degree in Fashion Design, I planned to pursue a career in the Fashion Design industry and seek a job in New York City fashion district.  As jobs were scarce at the time, I shifted careers to high-end cosmetics.                                                                                                            

Fast forward to COVID-19 in 2020.  I dusted off my sewing machine to produce masks for family and friends.  I was reminded of how much I loved to sew and my new adventure began.  After acquiring several yards of fabric and stumbling upon bag sewing tutorials, led me to making handbags and accessories.    

After a friend saw me carrying the first backpack I made, she ordered one and I decided to put all my effort into the bags and accessories you see on my website.
